ABOUT THE WEEKEND
Join us this October for the Holland Open Garden and Memory Makers Art Prize - a weekend of gardens, art, music and community, raising funds to help find a cure for dementia.
Since 2021, we have raised over $54,000 for the Dementia Australia Research Foundation and this year we’re aiming even higher.
Scroll down to see what’s on across the weekend, from workshops and guest talks to garden tours and our Saturday night garden cocktail party with Adam Harvey.

In Conversation with Brendan Moar - Guest Speaker Appearances
Meet this year’s Guest Speaker, Brendan Moar, in a relaxed, garden-side setting.

Dementia Choir Performance – Sing Out Choir
The Sing Out Dementia Choir is back again this year!
Made up of local people whose lives have been touched by dementia, their performance is always one of the most moving and memorable parts of the weekend. Come along and share in the music, the joy, and the sense of connection it brings.

Ken Tucker Live Painting in the Garden
Watch contemporary artist Ken Tucker paint the Sing Out Dementia Choir live as they perform in the garden. The finished piece will be raffled, with all proceeds supporting the choir.
Ken’s expressive style and mixed media techniques bring energy and depth to his work - and he loves chatting with visitors while he paints. Morning tea and lunch available to purchase.
